Thread: Tried lucid dreaming... got sleep paralysis.

So for a while I kinda forgot about lucid dreaming, but was reminded of it yesterday.

Last night I went to sleep, but as I was drifting off I noticed that I was going to sleep and starting to dream. I was in a city, so I tried to jump up and start flying. I think I got too excited though because the city started to crumble and I was left back on my bed! I realized that I had woken up so I tried to move... and nope. Every inch of my body was locked but I was fully conscience.

After a couple minutes I began to worry. This intense buzzing noise started and a terrible panic came over me and I desperately tried to move my arms and legs to escape but nothing was working. I don't even know if my eyes were open but I saw this fuzzy dark figure over me and I pretty much lost it from there, thinking it was a demon.

Eventually I was able to move one of my fingers which woke up my right arm, which then woke up the rest of my body. I turned all of my lights on, rewatched a few episodes of RuPauls' Dragrace and then reluctantly went back to bed.

I hope the rest of you had a better night's sleep than I did!
