So I had a short lucid dream where I realized I was dreaming and did my usual flying trick. For some reason I usually only try to fly in my lucid dreams. I wasn't even trying for a lucid dream but happened anyway. I'd love to try other stuff but after I fly my dream fades and is usually over. I think I need to work on awareness and I guess as I have more LD's I'll be able to try more things. Pretty happy for sure. |

Congrats on the ld! The first lds we have may be a bit short, but with time you will learn how to make them last longer. It might be a good idea to try to engage as many of your senses and checking out what is around you before starting with dream tasks. If the dream starts to slip away, try rubbing your hands or grapsing a nearby object. You can also ask a DC to help you stay in the dream. A tip to prolong flying experiences is to have a goal when flying, maybe there is somewhere you want to go, so concentrate on flying there. The focus will help keep the dream together. |
