      My 1st lucid dream!

So I had my first lucid dream where I know it's a dream the other night! My very first was when I was ten and I was flying but I didn't know it was a dream until I woke up xD

Anyway, this dream was very short but very exciting. It was a false awakening at first (I've had them before but was not lucid). As I got out of bed, everything seemed fine. I made my way to the bathroom, however after I opened the door I knew something was not right. Immediately I did a reality check and counted my fingers. I counted 8. Excited, I made my way back into my bedroom. When I opened my bedroom door I saw my sister sitting on the bed. I said to her, "I only got 8 fingers!" And she looked at me with no expression what so ever. She didn't say anything either. Then I decided I wanted to fly. I told myself you're gonna fly! And I did! I flew right through my bedroom window or wall (I can't quite remember). I flew up into the clouds and then back down again into some random backyard with a swimming pool. I felt the dream starting to fade away so I tried rubbing my hands together real quick but it didn't work.

It was a great experience and I'm so so happy I was able to fly with no trouble. I can't wait for my next lucid dream! Thanks for taking the time to read my first lucid dream.

      Hey!

      Well done - me too!

I had my first one a few about 3 hours ago. Been trying for 1 month and 3 days.

Can't wait for tonight, hoping for some more.

Yay! Congrats on the first lucid AND the flying. And now that you know what it feels like right as your mind starts questioning things before you get lucid (example: that feeling you had when you opened the door and something wasn't right), you'll be able to figure out how to do it again even easier.
