      So I was Semi-Lucid...

Well, the dream started off with me and a couple of friends hanging out in a school yard playing basketball at night. The these people came and kicked us out because apparently we were being two loud. I don't remember how but I ended up at a bar with a girl from work show was not included with the people I was playing basketball with. We were just talking and all of a sudden Dean and Bobby from the show Supernatural (which I just finished season 2 of that night) walked through the bar carrying body. I just remembered thinking "I must be dreaming!" so I got up and tried to walk towards Dean to talk to him but he just vanished when I got close. My dream ended shortly after that.

It was a short lucid dream (I used MILD) but it means that I am headed in the right direction!

Congrats! Yea I had a little difficulty in containing my excitement the first times I got lucid. I heard trying to "anchor" yourself in the dream helps, like rubbing your hands together or staring at one object and concentrating on it, to keep your sense in the dream state.

I'd say you can go ahead and put 1 for the LD count though hah.

Changing my Lucid Count from "working on it..." to 1! was definitely incredible feeling hahaha

      Hi,

      Congrats on a lucid dream.
These things are indeed amazing expirence yet unfortunely without prior stabilization they are more vulnerable to fast disappearance.
Even strong emotions shouldn't destroy your lucid dream attempt as long as you have stabilized it before

Stabilization techniques are techniques which help you anchor yourself inside a dream and make sure that you won't wake up prematurely
They are performed mostly at start of the dream and whenever you feel like it's starting to slowly end (Everything starts to look low quality, dull or you just feel like your about to wake up?)

I'd suggest you reading up this tutorial:
Dream Stabilization and Clarity Tutorial - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views
It explains how to make lucid dreams longer and stable
