Okay, after my[topic="45292"] amusing incident [/topic] yesterday I knew I was pretty close to having my 5th LD this year.
So, I went to bed nice and tired around 11:20 or somthing like that, and natrually woke up around 1:00 or somthing like that, so I curled under my sheets, and let my mind wander, and once I felt like I was about to nod off I started counting up and trying not to think too hard, then BOOM! I'm in the first WILD of my life!
The transition was totally instant, I came close a couple of times on previous nights, but I got too excited when the transitions started and ruined it, so I was not expecting it to come this quick when it finally worked.
Well, I went out to my backyard and walked in the moonlight for a few moments, then I went back to my room and got my laptop out to try somthing out that I had been meaning to try.
I proceded to waste the rest of the dream attempting to access a video on YouTube.
What I intended to do would have been very fun and interesting if it were to have worked, but first off the video i wanted was not in my favorites list as it was in real life, and second I kept trying to search for the video, but because of the issue of random text coming up, no matter how close I got to typing it in correctly, the search would bring up no results of the video I wanted.
After a good while of stubbornly trying to do this, i began to loose lucidity, as my mom started calling me and I took to stuffing socks between the halves of my Dutch door since I didnt want Mom walking in on me (i wasent doing anything naughty, I just wanted priacy ).
Oh, and somehow the dream started meshing with me watching somthing on Attack of the Show aoubt a new Apple product called the iPrinter. The dream faded with me still trying to access YouTube.
When I woke up about 20 mins had passed IRL. I wanted to try the re-entry technique, but I fell alseep in a funky position and had to move to get my blood flowing again.
Well, the dream was not a total waste, as I at the very least during the dream practiced doing constant RCs (I double take at the text on my rubber bracelet to see if it changes) just so I can get used to recognising what a positive result looks like. I also rubbed my hands a lot.
So, next time, I know not to rely on my computer.
