Thread: lucid natural?? (possibly)

i dont know if this is just reading alot of lucid dream stuff or not but im having a surprsing amount of lucid dreams. I found this site 3 days ago and had 2 already, one on the first night and one last night.I see others are having trouble and im wondering, am i just having a stroke of luck or are there other ppl who can just think about it and do it.

Some people pick it up easier than others. I have had considerable success learning new abilities in waking life, and have had pretty good success (by my standards) with lucid dreaming as well. But it's different for everybody. Maybe you're just a born natural (which can happen), and if that's the case I envy and congratulate you! =D

i had one that was a good 5 minutes, well thats what it felt like, but then i lost lucidity and it continued for a little longer, the other was about 30 seconds, and i had another last nite for another 30 seconds, soo now it would be 3/6 i think

So did you lucid dream before or after you joined this site? If you've been naturally lucid dreaming all your life or atleast for a good few years, then I'd say you are a natural however if you have only had lucids after finding this site then I'd say it was just luck or practise.

Perhaps you can give the rest of us some tips?

Now that you've got entering lucidity down, you should work on control. 5 minutes is short by a lot of people's standards and 30 seconds is just a flash. You should go for longer time periods and set yourself specific goals for what you would like to do in your dreams.

Maybe you are a lucid natural. But on the other hand, many people including myself have a few lucids within days of visiting the site! Keep it up though, because you won't know if you're a natural unless you have lucids on the brain!
