      "OMG! I'm dreaming again!"

Last night I thought I'd had all the dreams I was going to have, but was just laying in bed thinking. The next thing I know I am sitting in a classroom with a bunch of people from my high school.

I jump up and shout, "OMG! I'm dreaming again!" Then I flew out of the room, did some flips, and yelled, "Hey everyone! I'm dreaming and you are my DCs!" Some of them looked pissed, others confused. I always have the most interesting LDs when I announce that I am dreaming.

Anyone else have experiences with shouting something similar? I'm curiouse how other's dreams where they tell DCs they are dreaming go.

Usually when I tell my DCs they are not real they either deny it or they are totally unimpressed.

Heh, this has actually happened to me alot and I ussually get some pretty interesting reactions. The most noteworthy, and truly the only reaction that I clearly remember is one time when I just witnessed about 5 of my friends die in some odd way, which made me realize I was dreaming. Needless to say I was relieved to learn that the deaths of my friends weren't real, so instantly when I realized I was dreaming I had full control and floated into the air about 10 feet off the ground shouting "I'm dreaming! I'm dreaming! None of this is real, my friends are still alive! Haha, all of you people are just figments of my imagination!! Your citizens of my dream, and I'm your master!" or something along those lines. I was so elated I hadn't noticed this cruel looking DC walking in my directions muttering something that I don't remember. He leapt through the air at me, tackling me to the ground, and held me down yelling "This is my dream you idiot! Not yours, mine! I bow to no one in this world, now leave or die!" (those were his exact words, I remember them clearly). I immediately woke up, utterly shaken by his words.... I can still remember feeling his breath on my face haha. The worst part was how earnest he seemed. His words seemed so genuine, and his threat seemed heartfelt. Looking back, I realize he was just a DC, but damn that was scary. Since then I haven't told any DCs that they were just part of my mind so directly...

But, this was a one tiem thing, ussually after I say/think things like that in my LDs I simply have more control and I lose all feelings toward the DCs, which helps.

Ever since I was a child I tried to convince my DC's they were in my dream to see their reactions. They all just ask "What's a dream?" None of my dc's know what a dream is so they can't conceptualize they don't exist or something....

Wow! That made me laugh my a** off!

But honestly, that would be totally scary. Once I had this weird DC ask me how I was sure I wasn't HER DC! It kind of freaked me out for a while.

Most of my DCs think it's incrdibly obvious that it's a dream and belittle me for not knowing sooner.

If I tell them I'm dreaming they usually just tell me they know. Or I may say to them "you know this is a dream" and they'll just shake there head yes or simply say "yeah".
I really never control them, unless I'm trying to find some one I know. I've only one time told a woman that she has to take me to see a certain person, that was the only way I could get the person to appear in my dream.

If I had somone tell me it was there dream, that would definately make things interesting.

My DCs never show even the slightest hint of awareness. I guess my brain just cant figure out how to respond to that kind of statement

I ran out of my room once and told my friend I was dreaming and he just laughed at me. and the other night I was dreaming and talking to my bro and said "I feel kinda dreamy I wonder if I'm dreaming" and looked at me as if maybe I was so I did a reality check and took off running with happiness!

yea. Its kinda funny. I think most people realize they are dreaming and just take off and ignore the dc's. Unless...its a hot chick that is.

Yeah, the DCs can be easy to ignor when you become lucid.

I won't read these, I've had enough bad influences haha But I will add my own experiences.

My DCs are incredibly friendly and ecstatic for me if they are people that I am close to in RL. Especially if they are people who I speak about lucid dreaming to in RL. Dream characters who are not based on people I know I do not usually mention the fact that I am dreaming to. I read some bad accounts so I usually try to keep it a secret from them haha

I did have a lucid last night that some DCs were being aggressive and trying to interrogate me. I decided to go with the dream and cooperate, but I asked them to make a deal. I asked one of them how to improve my lucid dreaming, and that in return I would answer all their questions.

His response? "I'm just a DC, how should I know? I've never had a lucid dream!"

So we agreed that he would show up in all my dreams to tell me that I was dreaming. I never did answer his questions, but he and all the others became very friendly once we made our pact. I am very curious to see if he shows up, so I can ask him what he wanted to know!

I never really tell DCs that I'm in a dream. I'll ask about lucidity, and ask questions about themselves, where they go when I wake up, what they think of dreaming, etc. They seem comfortable answering these questions.

It's funny. In an early lucid of mine, I had found my dream guide/friend/thing, and was showing my family. They kept saying that it wasn't real, and I didn't want to admit it. I was lucid, but didn't want to believe that dreams were so shallow. That's why I refrain from saying "This is all just a dream." Instead, I say "Ah! I'm dreaming! I'm in a dream!" as if the experience somehow needs to be respected to produce desired results.
