remember thinking, "I wonder if this a dream? Or perhaps I am just in a movie?" after thinking this I thought that there was no way that I would be in a movie, and thus it must be a dream. After testing my theory I became lucid.

The point and time when I became lucid I did a reality checking after noticing that there was now way that I was in a movie and became Lucid. So that knocks number 1 off your list.

And as for being 20 have you ever heard of going to college or a university? You do know that's where people around the age of 18+ go when they graduate right? I wouldn't expect you to know this though...

It's just that in the UK, no self-respecting college or university student would EVER say that they attended "school" while they were at one of those two establishments..

Yes, we do. "I'm in school", and if you're of the age where you shouldn't be in highschool, people will typically ask you what college or university you go to.

Of course if you're as short as me people might assume you're still in highschool

While I do think "Oneironaut Benny" completely invited this kind of backlash, with his "OMFG I'm So Awesome!11!"-esque OP, let's not let it completely consume the thread.

Sounds like a cool dream, though. Vaguely reminiscent of some of my own - especially the part of powering up and seeing yourself in third person. I did Vegeta's "self-destruct" move to blow up the Earth and accomplish the "Witness the End of the World" task, and my view switched to 3rd person, just as yours did. Was any of the fighting in 3rd person, or just the powering up? I don't think I'd enjoy fighting in 3rd person as much. I like my epic fights to feel like I'm right there in the driver's seat (but, if it was only the powering up that was in 3rd person, then disregard that).

Yeah all of the fights were in 1st person the powering up, and some of the utterly ridiculous explosions went to 3rd person and sort of did a swing around view of the damage before returning to first person.

Thanks again for the praise. I'll try not to sound so high and mighty next time. I was just excited at the attempt that was going to happen.

Alrighty...

I wasn't going to post anything on this topic, but seeing that everyone has said something, either positive, or negative, i thought i would let my voice be heard..

First off, for those who knocked Brandon Heat, what was the point?

Ok, so he is excited about lucid dreaming, he has goals set for himself.. as I am sure each one of you have goals set for yourself.. His maybe extreme, or unheard of, but hey, it's a dream...anything is possible...why not go for it?

I believe Brandon is just pushing himself to new limits.. there are alot of people here that dont do that.. That just become Lucid and fulfill their every want and desire that they cannot achieve in waking life---inside their dream...

Instead Brandon wants to find out something, find out what's "Out there in the dream world".. Because honestly, if you just "Full fill your fantasy's" in the dreamworld, how will you ever know what is out there and what your capable of doing...


Bottom line is this.. Everybody was new to LDing at some point.. Everyone has got excited, and still does get exicted, about lucid dreaming... We all have our own personal goals to achieve... What makes one better then the other? We are all individuals.. and knocking on someone for being an individual, is just wrong...

I dont know if Brandon himself remembers, but him and I have talked a while here on DV through private messaging, and he is a good person, and has a lot to offer... that is why i took the time to write this, to stick up for somebody that i know means good...even if others see it differently...

I don't believe anyone is actually going to claim to have some personal against Brandon. It's an online environment; we're all simply speaking our minds. That should be respected. As one of the people who haven't supported Brandon in the way that he might deserve, I can tell you that this is because I feel pity towards someone who fantasizes about being a part of a TV show such as dragon ball z in a mature community like this. I'm a full supporter of originality, imagination and using lucid dream to fulfill fantasies, but there's just something sad about reading something where the author sounds like he fantasizes about being like Goku, even though he's an adult. It's difficult to articulate, since some people either understand this or don't. It's simply that there is something unnerving about this kind of thread that makes people want to speak their minds.

Please refrain from quoting me and attempting to initiate an argument. I mean no harm, I only wish to clarify. I've read the posts before mine, I know what has been said-it's possible i mistyped or forgot to say something but don't get excited over this. It's only another point of view that one should consider.
