either lucid or non-lucid, flying is my, and many others, most favorite thing to do. I get that, but what's so great about it? It's overwhelming, and I need an answer |

I ♥ DREAMVIEWS. I always have, and I always will. There is nothing else to it.
Imagine soaring over Mt. Everest, diving and swerving through the grand canyon, fleeing into the soft wispy-ness of the clouds . . . |

Many people enjoy flying, simply because its an experience you'll never get in Real Life. Its also enjoyable because its one of the easiest things to do while Lucid, which makes it an appealing choice. Since flying is simple enough (for many anyway), they enjoy doing it even more. |

I actually don't really enoy the rare instances of flying in my dreams...because it's always more like being suspended in the air and being afraid of falling... |

I truly dunno, flying is boring, teleporting is far better for me, tough sometimes the scene may require me to fly, so to do it. |

Flying is probably boring because you've done it so many times, as have I. It's not necessarily boring, to me, but not something I strive for in lucid dreams. For those who are new to LD'ing, it's fun, and worth trying. Flying was the first thing I would do, back when I discovered LD'ing in 1986. It's fun, it makes you feel free, and it depletes you from all responsibilities. |

The answer is simple. Freedom! |

I don't fly very often in LD's, mostly because when I wake up I feel like, sure that was really great, but that it was a waste of an opportunity to try something new. |
