      Yes but it is still highly questionable if a person who has no experience on lucid dreams manages to do 3 hour lucid dream I wonder if OP ever answers ^^
      but even though you have lot of time on your last REM-period, you must become lucid in the beginning of it, WILDing might be the best way. Also, you gotta keep it lucid for that long, which might be problematic

      yes no first timer can do 3 hours of luciding but "naturals" can hardly be called beginner or newbies

      Hmm hmm.. I am trying to be polite here. It is not my way to bash everything down even if it looks like quite troll to me. I don't banish the possibility of theoritical 3 hour lucid completely, but his story isn't very.. convincing to me, at least. Since REM-period is what it is, I find it quite hard to believe.

      But as I said, I find his story highly questionable.

      OP should have just said they managed to have a long lucid dream - which is probably close to the truth.

      Even if they did have a 3 hour lucid there is no way they could remember all of it.

      Its not a competition. Avoid the urge to boast.

      Even if you're a "natural" egotist.

      naturals are people who have had lucid dreams for all their life
