Thread: My first lucid dream, what was yours?

I don't feel like writing the set up, but it went from a dream to a nightmare. This big, black rat bit my finger and it's teeth sank pretty deep. Started to slam it against the floor and walls and door. Suddenly, I became lucent. I knew I was dreaming, but was more observing. Within 10secs I woke up

I think that was the second one, but it's the only lucid I remember

My first Lucid only lasted a few minutes, but it was a DILD. I was in a chinese food joint, and saw the waiter walking on the ceiling. He said, "Can I take your tree?" and I thought to myself.. what the hell? I have no tree... so I said, "Dude, how the hell are you standing on the ceiling?" (by then I had realized I was dreaming) and he goes, "Oh, my." and starts falling, but it was in like slo-mo. I closed my eyes really tightly and thought about time pausing, and opened them, and he was still, in the air, and there was a fly about 3 feet from my face frozen in place. I was like w00t I froze time, then I woke up.

My first was extremely short. I was laying on my back in the grass and became lucid as soon as I saw what appeared to be some kind of spacecraft flying overhead. It was the classic "ufo", metallic, disk shaped. I tried to get up but my legs felt like Jelly. I woke up.

Beyond that my first real LD was my best so far. I won't go into all the details (I drew a dream map down of the location) but I was in an American looking house. I explored downstairs, saw a tv with numbers on the screen, picked up a cup and held it to my face and felt it's coolness. The kitchen itself was so detailed I was just blown away. At that point I understood how powerful LDing was and how real it could be. I went outside and it was evening time. The sky was a red colour and there were people nearby. One of the people ran towards me as soon as I looked him in the eye and tripped over a curb sending him face first into a wall. I laughed and came around a corner. In the distance there was a gas station with a girl leaning against a car. I called to her softly and she walked toward me. I woke up.

Again, I could write pages about the details and how it felt but to date that was my most real one.

Here was my first lucid dream. Only lasted like 3 seconds though

I remember being in another room with a weird fuzzy animal thing from Muppets maybe I don't know. The weird yellow thing then pinches his nose as if doing a reality check. I then do the same and I can breathe! I become lucid and think to myself, "I'm dreaming!" Instantly I am trying to think what I want to do, got too excited, and lost lucidity... Dang, should of stablized the dream.

I was doing some kind of boss fight with my friend, it was kind of a Bruce lee style dojo thing. We where grown, Brad had a hoodie and looked like someone from KH, and i was ripped. I was like Holly CRAP! this IS A DREAM!!! and i pushed brad out of the door and i fingered the boss(it was a girl) and then penetrated her, but woke up like 2 seconds later with wet underwear...

At the time i didn't even know what LDing was, and i found it out, but not this forum i gave up after about a week of no success then i had another LD a few months ago, and searching lead me here DV has really encouraged me with my LDing
