      Exclamation Two Dreams in two nights: i'm on a roll! But what now?

      Okay, so, Last night I just had my second lucid dream ever. It was a bit sketchy and only lasted about a minute, but to me it was awesome. Especially since I just had my first lucid dream ever the night before! So Two nights in a row. I'm happy.

      In this one, my DCs were not as violent when I reached lucidity. And also, this marks the first time I've ever successfully induced a lucid dream and used a reality check.

      This time I used a mantra to induce my dream. I'm not sure if that's a WILD or a DILD or anything else. I also used the watch reality check.

      I don't know if this is normal, but I still didn't feel like i was entirely awake during the dream. I don't expect to become a master over night, but I'm not sure if this is normal. I could think, and it was somewhat logically, but it was difficult to maintain concentration. I also tried not to wake myself up again. But while worrying about maintaining concentration, the DC distracted me and I slipped out of lucidity for a second before waking up.

      Since this is my second lucid dream ever, and it's two nights in a row, i'm happy with my progress.

      However, what do I do now? I'm not sure how to progress my learning now. What exactly did I accomplish last night? What should my next step be?

      Do what you've been doing! Once you get a method that works for you, just keep with it. If you like the technique and the results, keep going! If you like mantras and whatnot, consider the MILD method (there's a tutorial for it). Or, if WILD is working out, you can do that, too. Heck, you could combine the techniques. Pretty much, if something works, don't try to change it too much.

      Congrats, man!

      Your LD is prob a DILD. Mantras are an auto suggestion that you hope will pop up in your dream and cause you to become lucid. (Unless you did a WBTO then you may have WILD'd)

      Maybe it was just the dream you had that you felt you weren't awake

      If you feel you're loosing the dream, stop and say, "calm down" and I'm sure there's other things you could say (I said that when I WILD'd yesterday afternoon and it worked)

      You just need to stay calm and not get excited. Once you can control that, you'll be on your way to longer LDs

      That was just a low level of lucidity but still very good to have 2 LD's in two nights, I'm starting too and had 2 in 1 night but I hated them both, the first one lasted 5 secs and the second was a lucid nightmare

      PS. Whats a WBTO?
