I downloaded the dream journal just a few hours ago. I will see if I can do it tonight. Although, I don't know which method I should try.

      Any ideas?
      Thanks,
      -Dave

IMO, the more the better. But! And this is a big but! I think if you constantly change techniques it hurts you more than helps. Not that I think you're trying new techniques just letting you know what i've read over and over.

What worked for me was starting a Dream Journal and writing everything down. Every few days I would read over my ENTIRE dream journal and picture all of those dreams to maybe help stimulate my dream memory. I also read that people that tried WILDing right as soon as they go to sleep have a chance of getting a LD even if you don't succeed.

I mean, look at my first lucid I just had... It was a FA/DILD due to SUBWAY lol... that's really funny to me because I haven't had subway for over 3-6 months.

Anyways, I think sticking to a few really good techniques (DILD/ MILD/ SP/WILD) Seems to be the answer. Many people get their lucids doing those techniques and that really helped me burn it into my mind. These are techniques that have been used for a while, stick with the basics IMO, BUT, mold the techniques you've learned into something new that fits you. I did. Took bits and pieces of everyones info and warped it a bit to help my body more. Example, some people stretch once and stay still. I can't, I move and toss and turn all night until i'm comfy, that's me and that's helped a lot!

I belive that your Dream Journal will be your best bet. Before joining DV I had 0 Dream recall unless the dream was really imprinted into my mind. After starting my DJ I started getting 2-7 a night!

I also read a TON of info on this site, Tutorials, FIRST LUCIDS, and pretty much all the other good stuff here.

Ohh, one last thing. Maybe this is the reason I had my first LD but you never know. I stopped taking my medicine (cannabis) for the first time in about 6-7 years. I read many things stating cannabis stunts your dream recall. Last night my 4 dreams b4 my LD were so incredibly clear and vivid i'm trying another night w/o my medicine. I don't suggest everyone do this becuase i've been able to fall fast asleep after learning about DV. I used to have insomnia, now it's really easy to fall asleep.

Anyways, just remember, it's really only you that's in the way. Once your brain realizes this I think you'll have your first LD.

Congrats on your LD success. My 2nd one only happened two days ago, so, I know the feeling Since you've had one already, you know that it's possible and a matter of time before you get the second one and so on, so, give it your all and good luck

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.

Thanks everyone for all the kind words. I had 5 dreams recalled last night. Even more vivid than the night before. Interesting.
