Where are the coolest places in your dream?

I'm back. OK, I've said before how I can instantly in less than a second appear in a totaly different place, or even a place that doesn't exist in a lucid dream. Also I can appear any place I've made up. My question is, where has been the coolest place you've gone to in a lucid dream. And/or what is the coolest place you've made up in a lucid dream? And now something random, has anyone else stuck their hands in mirrors and appeared somewhere else? If you have, what places did it take you? I remember once I went through a mirror and appeared in the lobby scene from The Matrix. Most often I appear in movies from mirrors...

That's interesting. Sometimes I'm afraid to look into mirrors when I'm lucid b/c I'm afraid of what I'll see...like I'll be all deformed or there will be some ghost or something behind be lol, but I will try the mirror thing that sounds pretty sweet.

I think the coolest place off the top of my head that I've visited in an LD (and damn there are SO many) was a place I found after I had been flying around for awhile. I was flying upsidedown through the clouds, over these cities with amazing lights when suddenly I saw a building in front of me. It was like the top of a skyscraper/hotel thing, like something you'd see in Vegas. Anyway, it was a really cool lounge/bar type of place. I landed there and looked around. Everything was really moderistic, the design was incredible. The couches were these really cool curved shapes, the bar was so neat and everything was lit up in this amazing ambiance. People were just kinda chillin there, listening to some good beats. And there was an INCREDIBLE view of the city below. It was all open air, no walls, no roof. Very cool place, I'll try to visit again sometime.

I only had two decent LDs ever so far, so mine may be kind of lame.

It was this place that looked very medieval and fairytale-ish -- sort of Peter Pan-type place (I know, very cliche). But what was funny was that I lost control as I was flying and smashed right into this barn and all these elves came out and they were so happy to see me and helped me up. I just smiled as if I was all happy and patted a couple of them on the head as I walked away and muttered to myself "alright, who the hell brought these guys here? I hate little elves?"

Where I'd like to go next time I have an LD is a place that exists only in paintings that I have done over the last few years. I want to meet the characters I've created. I want to talk, touch, and interact with them in their setting. Man, that would be so awesome (for me).

      lets see...
i've been in the passageway to hell. Trying to save someone. That was proabably the coolest. although the apocalypstic landscape was awesome (although scary) and i'm still partial to my old ballroom. It's been in my dreams since before i can remember. since before iu had my first lucid even! (first LD was when i was like 4)

One of my most common dreamscapes is a city that is simultaneously New York, New Orleans, and Ridgeland, Mississippi. The city is on a large body of water that is simultaneously the Hudson River, the Mississippi River, and the Ross Barnett Reservoir. I have been there many, many times in my dreams. However, I have only been there once in a lucid dream. I had been planning to go there in a lucid dream, and finally, I had a lucid dream about being in my old house and decided to go to the city, which I call "The New City." I got that idea from Nostradamus. I used my trick for changing dreamscapes in a LD. I visualized the scenery, and it appeared in front of me in a sudden instant. I was flying over the city over a path I had been on in a helicopter in a previous dream. I looked down at the streets and then woke up. I haven't been back in a LD since then, but I plan to return. I need to train myself to recognize The New City as a lucid dream cue.

My other favorite dreamscape is the beach I described in the ocean thread.
      You are dreaming right now.

The arcades. I rarely go to them in real life, so I rarely have a dream about them. When I do have a dream about them it is so amazing. It has a mysterious and fun feeling to it.

I dunno. The whole dreamsphere (I invented a new word, HAH), I guess. It's all one big splodge that is my brain.

New cool places since the last post!

Up on really high buildings where i (now) reside (really becoming partial to there)
      really old castles
and i still like going to feudal japan (last year & the Inuyasha dreams took up a good portion of that life)

(now this is going to sound really weird) but, in the arms of a DC that's showing signs of loving you.

even though it's a dream, it's still sweet.

The coolest place I've been is a level in the game "Quake 3", this map as a matter of fact

      http://img57.exs.cx/img57/3308/quake320050...184611545rj.jpg

The only difference was there was no power up or weapons, and the map looked 3 times as big, it was like I was an ant standing there, and there was a guy in the background jumping on one of the jump pads.

It was my 2/3 lucid dreams

I had a recent non-lucid dream where I was in some kind of game, that was happening in a fortress in an area which kinda borders a desert and a forest, something like that. This "game" was supposed to be the attempt of several hundreds people to survive in this fortress, while there were giant Starship Troopers-like insects roaming outside and often trying to break in. These people (including me) were supposed to coordinate our efforts to protect ourselves and counterattack, only we did not have any futuristic rifles there, no siree! And even though it was a game (it was actually kind of an expensive vacation spot or attraction, that lasted several days or weeks) it was all for REAL - people actually got killed in that place. A lot of people. Basically, you were paying a lot of money to have an incredible experience, but there was a high risk of getting killed.

And when you weren't on shift protecting the fort, like observing that no bugs are nearby, or scouting outside (the suckiest job to do! it was almost guaranteed death!), or taking care of the trained trolls inside the fortress (I don't remember why they were kept there), there were very expensive-looking restaurants, showers etc. - it was like a palace.

I walked with my friend in an amazing inner yard in that fortress, which had holoprojectors all around, and it was sunset and the view was ABSOLUTELY beautiful - there were tall hills towering over the fortress on one side, covered in a dense forest. Since we were supposed to leave in, like, several days, I made my friend vow that we'll return here and try our luck again in 10 years time (it was a damn expensive attraction like I've said). I have no idea how the heck did my brain manage to think up such a place, but if it were real, I'd take the chance of dying and I would have went there and enjoyed!

I use Dream Flying to establish new locals.

When I was younger I would Dream Fly for the sake of the sheer fun of flying, and the biggest problem I thought I had was the inability to maintain altitude keep flying. I found out quite incidentally, that I always seemed to descend and land in very interesting dream scenes.

Well.... the only decent Lucid Dream i has was last night. I got blown into the ocean from a gust of wind ( sounds stupid i know ) . I could see all fishes and stuff swimming around. Then, i went into space, and flew around ther for some time, and that was soo cool. Then i jus went back to the ocean. It was soo goood

I don't know if this is correctly called cool, but more interesting. This place place I've traveled was going outside the universe, but not in the usual sense.. I was speeding away from our galaxy, and I remembered I had to grow. I had problems with that, but got around eventually. The galaxies were smaller and smaller, and I could see other galaxies formed with those, and so on. At some point I noticed light. I was just like in a cloud, a white cloud where I could not see anything but bright white light.
[I lost the control of the dream]
I looked back and realised "I am never going to get back home", for my home was inside one of the atoms that formed the cloud and I had no ideea which one, they were moving too fast.
At that point I realised all atoms must have my world in infinite variants, that my world died infinite times by now, and I got freaked out and woke up. It all took a few seconds.

It's definitely not cool, more like a nigtmare, but most complex I had so far.

The coolest place in a dream? It would have to have been this Legend of Zelda map world. 15x bigger than all of them put together. I've had some of the best dreams there.
