Creepy, very dark LD last night.

Wow, I haven't posted here for a few weeks. D:

Last night, I WILDed after three hours of sleep. I successfully completed a dream goal without any problems. Soon later, I woke up from my dream and decided to just go back to sleep without trying to WILD again.

I had a false awakening. My room was dark, like it usually is at night, but it -seemed- darker, as if there was less light. It was very bizarre. I sat up and put my legs over the side of the bed. I tried saying 'more light' and then 'brightness now' to get some light into the room, but the light level only shifted a tiny, tiny bit. Then, I felt cold air blowing at my right arm, like breathing. It was pretty sharp, like a breath, but not uncomfortable. It would go for a few seconds, then stop, and then go again.

This scared the crap out of me, but I tried to act casually so I didn't turn the dream into a nightmare and 'waste' a LD. I put my hand out and tried to touch 'the person who I thought was blowing on my arm'. Of course, this was to turn the creepy blowing into a summoning, so the dream makes it a person doing it and not just making it come out of nowhere. Well, it doesn't work. I expect my sister to take my hand, but nothing happens, just the blowing again, on and on. I say, 'come on, I know you're there', in a silly tone. But nothing happens.

The dream ended. I spent the whole time trying to create an explanation for the scary blowing, but I couldn't. :C
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Cool! It seems you weren´t fully lucid though if you spent the whole dream on that.

It could be your arm was outside the cover so it seemed slightly colder and in your dream you imagined blowing. That's normally the explanation for me at least when weird stuff happen in dreams. I was once being electrocuted in my dream when I woke up and realized it was just a fly buzzing around my ear.

Whenever creepy stuff happens in my dream I always go berserk. If I was in your situation I imagine I'd get out of bed, turn the lights on and look for the breathing thing to give it a good beating while shouting my lungs out.

Yeah. I was around a 7/10 lucidity level when the dream started, then I got so into it that it dropped to around a 2/10.

Huh. Next time something wierd happens in my dreams, I'll see how I'm sleeping and all when I wake up. I didn't think about that this morning.

I wonder why you couldn't turn it into a person. That is normally exactly how I handle situations like that. Any idea what else it could have been?
