      Disappearing dream characters

      Whenever I become lucid all the dream characters around me seem to disappear - is this normal? I just kind of forget about them completely and focus more on what I'm doing.

      Yea that's normal, atleast to me. It happens pretty much everytime I become lucid.

      Apologies for bringing an old thread back up, but thought it would be better rather than start a new one.

      A few times I've had dreams where one of the dream characters has just disappeared, the latest being last night... she was leading me somewhere, so my attention was on her in the dream, but then I lost sight of her, and was searching for her everywhere.

      I've been thinking about this lately too.
      As soon as I become lucid, apart from the person / people I am already interacting with, the world seems completely deserted. ^_^
