- Just a short bit on this concerning LD's. I am 54 years old, and have been lucid dreaming since I was around 20. LD's started for me realizing that due to the situation playing out in front of me having unreal qualities, it therefore must be a dream. Once I made this realization, I then began to improve my skills. I can now usually enter a lucid dream at will. I can decide the situation, my role in it, and how it ends. There is much more to it than that, but this is a good starting point for me to describe myself.

I can't remember my first LD and it's because I've had so many accidentally (by DILD) as a child (by the age of 3) before I even knew what lucid dreaming was, but it was most definitely unintentional...
