      Just woke up.

Hi all so I've just woke up and had alot of vivid but non lucid dreams.

I'm not a very good sleeper in general but when I do have sleep after long periods of not sleeping I always have vivid dreams.

Here a few notable weird ones. I always dream about disasters etc and always have and I don't know why.

So this dream starts and I'm in the olympic stadium, I dunno why I'm there but everything is really clearly the entire stadium was basically mapped out from what I've seen from the TV and news.

Then a helicopter starts spinning in the air and falls down which In the dream I think crashed. Then a voice of an announcer over the tannoy starts saying ''it's an attack, it's an attack'' and then starts announcing that Fukishima (the nuclear plant) in Japan has exploded, their's lots of rumbling and explosion sounds then he announced the memorial buildings for the WTC have also been attacked, and I can hear planes flying over head. So then I'm running to a stand where my brother is sat to get to him and I'm shouting to him ''It's actually happened, this is it'' ( ) when all the railing behind his stand starts to bend and like some sort of quake happens.

Now that was the most vivid, but I had alot more. One about my dog being stolen from me, and I'm walking through London bumping into people in the city who I know in real life who have done bad to me in my past. Plus another world trade centre reference as a police man had a baseball cap on with 2 planes flying around 2 towers on his hat.

Why do I always dream of terrorist attacks and disasters? And why are most my dreams to do with fear and badness and people who I don't like from my past no matter how far back?

Just thought I'd share that with you all to see what you think.

      Thanks all

I don't really know why you dream about so many terrorist attacks and disasters, I used to have dreams like that for a little bit, well, mine were about me dying. Which is pretty much why a lot of times in dreams I don't wake up from dying. I think this is actually pretty normal. Probably just a spell of bad dreams, I broke mine with my first lucid.. You should probably try to do that too. I don't know though, just getting it out there that it's happening is sometimes enough to make it go away or at least get less.
Hope I could help a little, I would be open to give you quite a few suggestions if you'd like.

Hiya, well I'm quite a panicy person and have alot of anxiety and panic attacks etc, and this is probably why I'm always dreaming about things like this but it's literally all the time?

And when I was having my lucid dream the other night, I kept on telling myself in the dream ''This is gonna turn into a lucid nightmare, wake yourself up'' and I was enjoying the dream but had to wake my self up because I could see the sky starting to turn red with bombs etc dropping out of it.

I'm just worried now that all my lucid dreams will start going like this cos it's in my subconcious. Any thoughts?

Well, I know that I for one would embrace it. Tell the dream bring it on dream and just go into it. I did that once with a nightmare, I tried to have the nightmare when I felt it start to come on, I just kept trying to make it more and more and eventually it was almost like I got used to it in a way. Now every time I have that feeling it just doesn't bother me, I doubt this will work with very many people though, I suppose it's worth a try. It's like you're seeing an action movie or something, you go to them to see bombs dropped and to watch violence. Just turn your dream into a "I want to see what happens" type of dream, but instead of just waiting to see what happens you go and investigate. It can be quite a cool experience.
Another thing that I would do is think, my dreamworld's jacked up and me as the protagonist of my dreamworld need to find a way to restore balance to it.
Just looking at your situation with a different attitude or different objectives may make things go normal. Though you aren't expecting them to because you need to restore the balance yourself.
Hope that helped, please keep me updated to what's happening in your dreams it's quite interesting.
