Now every time I have that feeling it just doesn't bother me, I doubt this will work with very many people though, I suppose it's worth a try. It's like you're seeing an action movie or something, you go to them to see bombs dropped and to watch violence. Just turn your dream into a "I want to see what happens" type of dream, but instead of just waiting to see what happens you go and investigate. It can be quite a cool experience.
Another thing that I would do is think, my dreamworld's jacked up and me as the protagonist of my dreamworld need to find a way to restore balance to it.
Just looking at your situation with a different attitude or different objectives may make things go normal. Though you aren't expecting them to because you need to restore the balance yourself.
Hope that helped, please keep me updated to what's happening in your dreams it's quite interesting.
