First kiss still haunts me

A little over 8 years ago I received my first kiss from a girl. I'm sure for some people this would be a happy and unforgettable moment. Mine was certainly unforgettable... the circumstances of it though, were very awkward. I'm not comfortable going into a lot of details about it on a public forum, as much as I know those details would probably help. Although I've tried not to dwell on it, ever since then I've had vivid dreams of her, usually once every few weeks or a month or so.

For awhile I thought the dreams had stopped until I had another one about her this morning. I briefly realized I was dreaming and struggled to wake up... the alarm had buzzed 10 minutes ago and I was already going to be late for work... but another part of me couldn't stand to be away from her and refused to wake.

As much as I try to tell myself it doesn't bother me from an emotional standpoint, I'm guessing the fact that I am now at work and half asleep writing about this probably shows that it concerns me.

I've never had it come back and bite me in a dream though, that's bad times. Hope you can get past it!

I agree. It was awkward for me too. I think about it fondly of course, however it still makes me feel awkward when I think about it. I am terribly awkward in any social occasion anyway I guess. I don't show it, but inside I am braking down

Mine was pretty cool. Looking back, I gotta sigh and roll my eyes at my inexperience. So much I've learned since then.

It was the fourth of July, or that day before/after, so there were fireworks. Fucking rad.

Now we're busy... The very first time I was drunk and was guided by alcohol. And it was fabulous :p

However, I never concidered that to be my very first true kiss as I was pretty drunk... Now the actual ackward first kiss (different girl), quite clumbsy in fact.
We were sitting in the couch watching the tv and the show was over, then she shut of the tv and we were talking a bit. It was pretty quiet sometimes and just ackward, I waited so long to kiss her and she obviously was waiting for it. I turned my head to her, got afraid and turned it back. I continued to do that for some times until I actually kissed her.

Now here's the thing xD I was only good at kissing from the 'right' side, like... tilting your head to the right in stead of left. I dunno why, cos I learned later that it doesn't mean a damn thing

I just thought that (weird...) I was sitting left in the couch, she to my right. So when I tilt my head to the right it was actually against the couch rug and I couldn't tilt it quite enough. And she wasn't helping either, it was very uncomfortable and I just stood up and said I felt better standing up (cos when I was drunk that time it was on the dancefloor), took her hand and pulled her to me. She was quite confused in fact... then it was a better kiss.

Still though... That's got to be the clumbsiest kiss ever, not very tactful of me either. God, I felt so stupid

And thinking about it gives me goosebumps.
Maybe tell it to someone, why not here? Maybe it helps?

I sure hope it helps for me :p

Kiss her in the dream. You can just get it over with.

Mine wasn't awkward the slightest, but you beat me.

Mine was after a wrestling match at the middle school with the school hottie, but I was all sweaty from my match. LOL

Ummm to the OP... 8 years ago?! And it's returning now? Hrm that's odd... well just try not to think about it and maybe it'll disappear from your dreams too.
