From that poem, I understand "rise this fall" to mean getting up after falling. That makes sense. It's a nice, short term for the thing, provided I understood right. |

Itīs all philosophy and natrual too. Experiancing free will and having it is 2 diferent things. if you have a look at a ticking klock it is moveing on itīs own free will. It has purpuse and it dose it well. Good work mr klock! But if you open the klock you will find what has made it tick away. I like to view my self (and that includes you) as a advanced AI program and a AI can look alive with reaction and action. We created the computer in our own image. Now remember that all of this is just for fun. Just like playing with the thought of deamons and angels. All just symbols of the mind. I have frinds that view me as a saint and I view them as saints to. No big deal. Itīs just about how we feel. |

Ten years without a dream, now starting almost from scratch.
We're messing with our bodies on a very low level here - can we break them? What will it take to hurt ourselves?
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men.
-Roald Dahl
Or in a broader sense - even if you were, four years ago, identical to me in every respect, our difference in location would make us different. If you want to talk about truly being the same, you have to go all the way, to the point where it makes no difference whether I'm two or one because however many I am are doing the exact same thing with the exact same effect. |
