When god commands his follows to rape prepubescent girls, I think the topic of if god created hell or not is kind of a moot point. People say the bible is often taken out of context, but I never heard a context in which raping children is not evil. |

Imposing a thought for discussion, but not necessarily any views of my own, could the times when God refers to himself as "Us" (Genesis 1:26, 3:22, and 11:7 are three examples) have anything to do with either this or other times when God has seemed inconsistent? Most people have accepted it to be a reference to the fact that God exists in the three parts of The Father, The Son, and The Spirit, but I think placement in contrast to other parts is important. To paraphrase, in 1:26 he says that he made man in "our" image, and in 3:22 he says "man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil". It's only when it talks about his own actions or speech that refers to God as "He". |
