No, but religion didn't exist at one point. Atheism and religion came together, because there would be no point in consciously not believing in God if the concept of God hadn't been created. Passive atheism perhaps. The decline in logic hadn't begun yet.

Ok, I respect your beliefs and I agree that religion has been severely misused throughout history but hearing people say stuff like that without mentioning all the good things that religion has done for the world rather upsets me. You should remember that the some preists in the past and today may have been rapists but alot of them actually believed what they preached.

That only applies for a Christian admonishing a Christian. Sam dreamer has made it clear he is not a Christian. Still I agree nothing good comes out of being mean.

I completely agree with that last bit but must say that I was admonishing 27. He is a mormon which means that he is a theist and I thought I would extend him the same courtesy.

Well I guess you guys are entitled to your own opinion, but to me, starting a topic in the religion board about how sick you are of religion seems rather illogical to me...

Yes, the bible does dreamworld, but 27 wasn't helping Sam dreamer. He said that this topic was worthy of him in a way that I found rather insulting.
