It so funny that people just call conspiracy theories bullshit. Most of the groups they talk about are real groups, they usually just come to the wrong conclusions about what these griups are doing.

I don't know what the knights templar do, but I assume they are in some way related to the catholic church.
157 is a prime number. The next prime is 163 and the previous prime is 151, which with 157 form a sexy prime triplet. Taking the arithmetic mean of those primes yields 157, thus it is a balanced prime.

Secret societies exist, of course. Hell, there's a Freemason chapter hall where I live. So that's not even very secret. But secret does not imply evil nor does it imply power over anything.

      No.

I don't think that all conspiracy theories are bullshit. I realize that the organazations and whatnot are real too.

What I do believe is that whatever conspiracy theories may be true, they are surrounded by alot of bullshit.

Yeah thats what I meant by the wrong conclusion(bullshit). I was just making a general statemnet.

Though I think the NWO has quite a bit of substance to it. David Rockefeller is a powerful man, and he wants global government.

Of course, ultimately, it will be the people that demand a NWO, and it will be so.

The guys I killed on Assassin's Creed.

No, seriously, this is who the Knights Templar are.

A Seal of the Knights Templar, with their famous image of two knights on a single horse, a symbol of their early poverty. The text is in Greek and Latin characters, Sigillum Militum Xpisti: followed by a cross, which means "the Seal of the Soldiers of Christ".

The Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon (Latin: Pauperes commilitones Christi Templique Solomonici), commonly known as the Knights Templar or the Order of the Temple (French: Ordre du Temple or Templiers), were among the most famous of the Western Christian military orders. The organization existed for approximately two centuries in the Middle Ages, founded in the aftermath of the First Crusade of 1096, with its original purpose to ensure the safety of the many Christians who made the pilgrimage to Jerusalem after its conquest.

Officially endorsed by the Roman Catholic Church around 1129, the Order became a favored charity throughout Christendom and grew rapidly in membership and power. Templar knights, in their distinctive white mantles with red cross, were among the most skilled fighting units of the Crusades. Non-combatant members of the Order managed a large economic infrastructure throughout Christendom, innovating financial techniques that were an early form of banking, and building many fortifications across Europe and the Holy Land.

The Templars' success was tied closely to the Crusades; when the Holy Land was lost, support for the Order faded. Rumors about the Templars' secret initiation ceremony created mistrust, and King Philip IV of France, deeply in debt to the Order, began pressuring Pope Clement V to take action against the Order. In 1307, many of the Order's members in France were arrested, tortured into giving false confessions, and then burned at the stake. In 1312, Pope Clement, under continuing pressure from King Philip, disbanded the Order. The abrupt disappearance of a major part of the European infrastructure gave rise to speculation and legends, which have kept the "Templar" name alive into the modern day.

I used to go to a small church that couldn't afford any other building than the old mason building in town that we had to rent out but weren't aloud to change anything.

So when people asked where I went to church and then asked where it's located the easiest explanation was the old mason building. Which could be kind of awkward. It was kind of funny though.

I read a very well researched and informative book by non-mason Jasper Ridley (titled "The Freemasons") that cast all suspicion from my mind that the Freemasons were descendants from the Templar knights. In addition the Freemasons were divided completely during almost every war in history, often bickering amongst themselves. There has only been one person in history that the freemasons ever killed, and that was from an American group disconnected from their origin and clearly not representing the entire organization.

There is simply too much information to convey from this book, and given that I don't have it in front of me I can't accurately repeat it all. To all interested, I highly recommend you get this book. It's a delightful read if you enjoy history.

Yeah free masons, knight templar and rosicrucians have nothing to do with each other. They're all really old private clubs of their own nature.

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.

      Wikipedia:

The story of the secretive yet powerful medieval Templars, especially their persecution and sudden dissolution, has been a tempting source for many other groups which have used alleged connections with the Templars as a way of enhancing their own image and mystery. Since at least the 1700s the York Rite of Freemasonry has incorporated some Templar symbols and rituals, and has a modern degree called "the Order of the Temple". The Sovereign Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem, founded in 1804, has achieved United Nations NGO status as a charitable organization. There is no clear historical link between the Knights Templar, which were dismantled in the 1300s, and any of these other organizations, of which the earliest emerged in the 1700s. However, there is often public confusion and many overlook the 400-year gap.
