Thread: Lizards, pest or pal?

On Maui, we have jackson chameleons. They're awesome. But they do kill the native bees. On the whole lizards are good.

It was because of an uncaged pet iguana that a woman swerved across that double yellow line and nearly killed me.

But no, lizards are cool.

Lizards = neato.
(...for pretty much the reasons already listed.)

still. every prior responder has listed something that some individual or community of lizards has done wrong and then dutifully concluded that lizards are awesome anyways. In this context, surely you can see how your callous disregard for what must surely have been a harrowing experience does create the suspicion that you harbor feelings of ill will towards da kine.

Harrowing does not necessarily mean bad. Even Mzzkc himself did not specifically refer to his experience as a negative. Everyone needs a little brush with death, every now and then. Let's us know we're alive.

I think I would have been more upset if my video game reflexes hadn't kicked in and the damage to the car was more extensive than a destroyed mirror. The pregnant lady behind me wasn't so lucky. . .
