Mayhaps creating a thread for random discussion would be more appropriate. You'd have to watch what you say, and single word posts and other "spam" wouldn't cut it anymore, but surely that would be acceptable. Also:

Under DV's own rules, moderators have the authority to modify and delete Posts that are deemed "spam." Assuming that every single post in the thread counts as "spam" is not only absurd, but sets a dangerous precedent. And at any rate, locking the thread would have been a more appropriate action, if anything. We'll see what happens...Naiya still has clout here, after all.

Ah. Well. I made a new forum for her to delete :/ He's trollin'. He wants to see rage. Best thing you can do is not show any. Let the admins work. Mark still has to answer to his bosses. Short of a direct order from Alex, he really doesn't have a leg to stand on, and if Alex wanted the thread removed permanently, he would have passed it off to an admin, not a mod.

This thread needs moar hats At breakfast, I was thinking about making a chat thread where no "bump" type posts were allowed. And double posts should be minimized. And I agree with locking the thread, lol I like it more than a realtime chat because it's not as fast paced and I can have a convo with someone all day. Though not as fast I really don't care. I can ask a question, and by the end of the day, I could have a few answers whereas in a RT chat the question can become lost. Plus, it's easier to have multiple convos in a chat thread. On other forums, we have a "memorial" thread (member died from cancer a few yrs back) which is a chat thread, and another that is a "w/e" thread. On another forum we have Daily threads where on Wed you post in the Wed thread. I say we call it, "Mario's Empire V2.0"
