Thread: The most important question in the world ever.

My boyfriend and I were discussing whether or not we would allow each other to sleep with a celebrity if we met them and they were on our list of celebrities we're allowed to sleep with if we meet them. We still haven't decided if it's ok.

Anyways, we decided on 4 each, and then I asked if I got to have a girl list as well because there are girls celebrities that I would also like to sleep with. He said that if I get 4 girls, then he gets 4 MORE girls - a total of 8 female celebrities he's allowed to sleep with if he meets them.

But I say he should have a list of 4 girls and a list of 4 guys, just like me. We should both have the same. He enthusiastically declined my offer.

I say it's not my fault that he doesn't want to sleep with guys, but the option is there for him and it's his perogative if he doesn't want to take advantage of it. He says I'm f***** insane.

Two part question: what do you guys think of this and who are your top four or eight.

Mine:

Men - Ewan McGregor, Joaquin Phoenix, Josh Hartnett and Diego Luna.

Women - Jessica Alba, Rachael McAdams, Amy Smart and Gabrielle Union.

A) Haha No Way, doll. That's not a fair trade. You can't lose if you swing both ways, so why should he have to get stuck with 4 guys if he's not attracted to guys? The gender doesn't matter, as much as the fact as you're getting the best of both worlds, and he has to settle for 4 guys on a technicality.

B) Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm..........
Brooke Burke, Jessica Alba, Vivica Fox, Salma Hyek

Yah, I'm with Big O on this one...if he's not into stool pushing then he shouldn't be forced to pick dudes only for his four additional selections.

P.S. - I don't see why would you guys would limit yourselves to swinging with celebs only. If you find yourself strongly attracted to someone sexually, then I think its a beautiful thing if your partner condones you sleeping with them...and vice versus of course. ~

I disagree with the guys - you both should have 4 girls and 4 guys (or if he doesn't want guys, he only gets 4 girls and forfiets the others). It's only fair! Either that, or just change your number to 8 instead of 4, with no gender rules.

Now, each person getting the same number of each gender is not fair. That's what you're overlooking. It's not fair because she's bisexual. The only reason it seems fair is because it would be in any traditional situation where both people are heterosexual.

I think that if the original question was intended to find out which celebrities the other finds sexually attractive (from a strictly objective viewpoint), then having 4 from each gender is not so bad.

I mean I could come up with 4 male celebrities that I would pork (IF I was a female, bi or homosexual). However, I'm not sure of the original motive for the initial hypothetical situation.

Problem solved. If we meet any of the four girls that I wanna do, he gets to join in. But he can't sleep with them if I'm not there. We feel this is fair.

InTheMoment - my boyfriend would NEVER allow swinging. That is definitely not his style. This celebrity thing is more of a fun conversation we had, I'm pretty sure we're not actually agreeing on it, (even though we totally should because if I could sleep with Ewan or Joaquin I think I would just die).

Actually, you should just get 4 total. I don't know why the gender of the Celebrity should matter. Sex is sex. You should only be able to pick 4 Celebrities, and if your homosexual tendencies are really that intense, then you will simply have to express that in the ratio of males to females that you choose.

Oh, and at least now you know that you should not ever marry this boyfriend of yours. If he doesn't even care to keep his inclinations for infidelity a secret from you, then I can't see how you have the slightest glimmer of a hope that he would be faithful to you. And then there is the matter, that even should he straighten up and become responsible, then he would probably realize that YOU may be a problem -- certainly he could worry of ever bringing a girl like you home to meet his family... and he could seriously wonder what kind of mother you would make. A guy may even encourage hhis temporary girlfriends in being sexually adventurous, but he would think twice to assign the same traits to the mother of his children, or the lady he should choose to represent his Family to the respectable Society that he would wish to cultivate in order to advance his career.

And for what? For the hopeless scheme of sleeping with some unattainable Celebrities. Not that celebrities are not a promiscuous lot, but that they have so much sexual opportunity but only a limited capacity just like anybody else. Though the greatest Lowlife Celebrity would in theory wish to screw every female he should come across, in his real world he would experience the limitations of available time and energy, as well as become cognizant to the realization that such intimacies exposes himself to what he has probably come to know as a 'bunch of crazy chicks' -- emotionally unstable and intellectually immature -- the bad experiences they can inflict can range from the merely annoying to the actually dangerous. No matter how slutty a Celebrity, the gravity of Common Sense is enough of an influence to impose some modicum of restraint and caution while pursuing their sexual acquisitions.
