Oh my lord. I went through so many emotions on that one, like so:

      ..... ... ...... .....

Thumbs down in my book. I'd like it more if I weren't a cat owner. That cat looked very traumatized. Sure it's funny for us, but the poor thing was probably having a heart attack in there.

Hehe. I figured the stark cat-lovers probably wouldn't love it, but hey, all biases aside, the kitty is just fine. He looked no more traumatized than when you try to give them a bath, by hand. And I've owned a cat, so I speak from experience (and have had the battle-scars), too.

Alright. I'll admit to it being funny only if they promise they only did it once.

In all seriousness though, I'm against causing any sort of distress to an animal that doesn't understand why you are doing something.

OMFG I've never seen that one before! What is the benefit of putting a cat in zero gravity? :/

You can throw them against walls and they spin in hilarious ways.

Lol I have a strange feeling that pet spa isn't going to catch on... did anyone else think that it looked like it was trying to catch something in there, or was it just jumping around irratically?

Zero gravity cat wasn't very funny... they were just throwing it around

Love the llama in the hay, that is brilliant

I would get myself a cat if they didn't shed so much! Also, I don't like their claws at all, they always scratch me!

You can minimize shedding by brushing the cat. Actually my cat doesn't shed all that much, and we never brush him cuz he doesn't like it.

A cat shouldn't be scratching you. If it is, that is a sign of bad training. Get it a scratching post and it will be fine. Also, you can trim your cat's claws every now and then.

Heh. It's all good. I guess I expected it to be ill-recieved. But hey, as said, I grew up around practical jokes and the truth is: I believe that, had any of those happened to humans, you'd all probably laugh your asses off. (Ever see the show Scare Tactics? Hilarious. And the water jets in the Pet Spa were extremely misty. I doubt it was bad, so much as just "WTF-ish" ) But, far be it from me to make something out of nothing, so ok. Moving on...

I just watched that and, err, placing a human into a cage that fills up with water like that may result in death due to the human suffocating. We can't breath water. Neither can cats.

Not to mention that cats aren't self-aware conscious beings. They can't reason that it's all safe and make sense of the situation like we can.

And not to mention that even if the animal doesn't suffocate by breathing in water, the water can get into the cat's ears and when it's taken out, the slightest cool breeze may give the cat all sorts of inflammation-caused ailments (just deducing here, I'm no vet, but still).

It never "filled up with water." It simply sprays ("mists," to put it more accurately) water up into the air, which is what the cat freaked out about. Also, when most practical jokes are played on humans, involving scaring them, they prank is usually so thorough that they aren't able to reason that it's safe and make sense of the situation, until it is revealed. (This is what makes it effective.) Granted, it's not something that I'd suggest tormenting a cat with by doing it every day or something, but as a one-time gag, I thought it was pretty funny.

And I think you're going out on a limb with the wet ears thing, but forget about it. No use debating over the vid. Forget I even posted it. Moving on.
