hm... let's see how many i can think of.
My name is Alex
I'm pretty introverted but that doesn't mean I'm shy. I'm not afraid to talk to people and have plenty of friends, I just feel very comfortable by myself a lot of the time and hate making small talk
I love snowboarding
my favorite thing in the world is going to lake powell, arizona and staying on my aunt and uncle's houseboat with all my cousins
I'm going to travel the world someday and must say that I'm off to a pretty good start
I want to dedicate my life to helping people in countries like africa and peru someday
my best friend is moving and I'm really sad about it
I'm too lazy to wear makeup, but not too lazy to run 3-5 miles every day
besides friends, cross country is the highlight of high school
I'm mormon (and would like to say that we are all very much aware that you all think we're really weird but most people have a completely wrong idea about our beliefs and most of what you'll hear is probably a rumor or people will leave out things when explaining certain beliefs of ours to make them not make sense. and i don't care if you don't like my religion or if you don't like me because of my religion.)
I miss the beach every day but go there often
I love wakesurfing and surfing in the ocean
I really hate most the music that everyone at my school listens to and no one i talk to has heard of the artists that i like, those poor sheltered people
it really bothers me when girls take a billion pictures of themselves and put them on their myspace/facebook. It's annoying on so many levels
I can't stand it when people call soda "pop"
I wish people would walk faster in the halls at school
I don't let people push me around
As much as I like friendly people, I also like mean people, because sometimes when people have mean personalities it can be more entertaining than insulting. I'm really sarcastic so when people are mean to me I usually don't get my feelings hurt, i just find it funny
dry humor dominates
my cross country teammates all got me into the habit of saying that things "dominate"
when I type or text "omg" i don't literally mean o - m - g or oh my gosh, i mean "ohmgh" sounded out like the sound you make when you have peanut butter stuck to the roof of your mouth. My brother did that a lot, and we both started to to make fun of people who actually said "o - m - g" in real life. So whenever something exciting happens i'll yell "Ohmgh!" and no one will know what I mean
I play guitar, but need a whole lot more practice. the hardest song I can play is Ritual Dance by Michael Hedges which isn't really that hard... I'm teaching myself so it's hard to get better when i'm so busy all the time
I put ... in my posts a lot, but just can't seem stop!......................
oh, and I have synesthesia, so i can taste songs.
