Sometimes I get caught up in the technical/Moderating aspects of the Forum. What remains is a lack of personal communication with a lot of members. Members I think the world of but this prohibits me from a one on one basis relationship.

I think there are many things to contribute to this. Many variables.
I think the size of the Forum is one major factor. The off topic discussion boards often lead to the degeneration of the over all community outlook too.
