well from what ive read the mayan calendar is calendar of the evolution of consciousness.. So if it ends maybe that means that consciousness reaches its goal, whatever that may be.

Maybe there is a fourth dimension and people could discover how to move into it.

Maybe our minds have an untapped level of power or connection to the universe?

it could be something like human consciousness becoming united with God or the universal consciousness. If something is gonna happen its probably beyond our wildest imaginations..

Something will happen the same thing that has been happening, more people are realizing their inherent abilities.

Theirs a rare alignment of planets and the mayan calendar ends a cycle and moves onto another...

A lot of what they said has already been proven false. For example, the election was decided on election day. There was no controversy at all.

I don't agree with Ichigo - overall human cosciousness is somewhere on the way but the way is long and we simply can't comprihend what is "higher there". I heard from some sources that from that point reality will be like in LD - what you want you will get. Old mortal problems will vanish but new will come out.
Bad news for internet. Some say that from that point some electrical qualities of some materials will change thus computers will be useless....

What I think will happen:
Everyone who thinks its the armaggedon will get deception again.
Everyone who expects a major spiritual change, have a 50/50 probability of deception.
Everyone who expect nothing, also have the 50/50.
For the alignment, I want to see it, but probably won't be able to ;.;
Oceans and align sounds to me like "El niño/niña" will be stronger, but I have the chance of deception.

Anyway, nobody wins lol Unless end of world was real this time... lucky people <.<

Read this...it talks about in 2012 that we will switch to the 4th dimension or astral plane were we will be more self aware of our energy bodys and realize were all just multiple manifestations from one source...and the physical world will be gone or such aka "New Earth" and also surpass our emotions which will be useless to us and it would be possible to not lie,cheat or steal and those who do...well i think of them as lower life-forms =]
