Dear lord that paragraph was horrible.

I've been using proper punctuation and grammar since I was 12.

I once asked a girl why she types so crappily. She says it's to "save time." For all the time she saves (all those precious five seconds), I spend three times as long trying to figure out what the hell that vomit of letters is supposed to say.

I can understand when people just aren't good at spelling or grammar. Capitalization isn't a big deal either, but I don't think punctuation and actually spelling things out is too much to ask for. For the sanity of us all...

Other than that, I'd rather drink Dran-o before reading that again.

I try to write with proper spelling and grammer, but often incorporate slang into it the way I would talk in real life. Things like:
-I'mma go now
-You gonna do it?
-Aight

I say I'ma and gonna..but not 1337.

Infact, 1337 gets downgraded: 1336.

I never replace letters with numbers and symbols. Unless I'm using it to illustrate a point.

Am I the only one who doesn't see a problem with this?

Sure i see the errors and mistakes, but its just a form of communication.

Oh well.
Perhaps i don't value words as much as most people seem to...

Personally, when someone can't be bothered to write properly, I can't be bothered to read it.

Is it more intelligent to use more keystrokes to convey the same message? Perhaps those of us who type full words on the internet are being left behind by the next evolution of language.
