I guess I have mixed feelings about the whole thing. On one hand, I can understand that some people just aren't good typists, and it's easiest to cut corners. Also, colloquialism is something that shouldn't be disregarded. I don't believe it takes longer to decipher shit like that than it does for the other person to type it correctly, especially if that person isn't that deft at typing.
Usually, I just don't really give a shit. It's aggravating at times, sure, but whenever I see people that just go absolutely ballistic because of the way someone types, I just have to chuckle a bit. Sure, proper grammar is "important," but with all the reasons (sufficient or not) there are for people to cut corners, I just think it's still a bit too trivial to be getting bent out of shape over.
That's just me, though.
