Thread: Is "fred" supposed to be funny?

Fred is not funny at all.

It's for kids, if that isn't immediately obvious. :/

My little sister doesn't think he's funny. Thank goodness that at least this bit of my judgment has passed down to her. :]

I like to laugh at some of the things he does sometimes...

I guess because it is just mainstream humor, and probably a lot of people just think they get a bit of a kick out of him, so they subscribe. Heck MRirian is the most viewed channel of all time, and she doesn't even look cute to me and definitly doesn't look japanese.

Also Fred has been around youtube for quite awhile, he joined the year they started, and when you join so early you kind of find it easier to get subscribers because once your on top everybody flocks to you thinking that is what they should like, just like TV tells us whats populer (what we should like).

Sometimes all it takes to get on top is for a lot of people to think your kind of funny, then half those people thinking your completely awesome.

I had never heard of this Fred fellow before. I just checked out his youtube page, and it turns out I was better off not knowing who he was.

Yeah, I recently checked out the Most Subscribers list and found Fred. This was to become the day of my second suicide attempt. I'm in rehab now, I feel a bit better, but the word "Fred" still triggers the longing for death. I fear this will never quite leave me. This is a burden we all have to carry. Stay strong, internets.
