For your information, I am 1.5 times older than that. A 10 year old wouldn't know that.

Plus, I am not immature AT ALL. Open for discussion (as to why)

Open for discussion = open for discussion, so I'll gladly discuss.

Wasn't going to reply until I remembered that thread.

Also, you posted more in less than a month than I did in over a year. That and hardly any of your posts offered any real insight, other than starting random threads about "Have you ever dreamed about this?" and offering little advice, which is mostly comprised of basic LD knowledge.

It's hard to claim that one isn't immature AT ALL, that means you're never immature, ever. In your very profile it says, "I am the kind of person that laughs a lot. Mostly at dumb things with my crack up buddy in geology."
You laugh at dumb things, wouldn't that be at least somewhat immature?

Wouldn't a mature person be mature enough NOT to challenge people who dispute their maturity?

Anyway, I'd do more, but I don't feel like finding anything but the obvious.

Post count alone isn't a big indicator (I just joined this past January and I now have over 800 posts ), but as pojmaster pointed out, SUBSTANCE does play a huge role.
On the other hand, as poj was also pointing at- almost everyone has a somewhat immature side at times. I'm 34 years old and I know that I do (playing video games for 12 hours instead of cleaning, for example )

Rightly or wrongly, I gauge maturity on several factors: Does the person curse unneccessarily, do they use text-speak (or whatever it's called), do they quickly become offended etc.

But, so far, I like everyone here so it doesn't matter one way or another to me

To reply to the original question, these last few days I've come to miss something I actually hate about myself. You know how doctor's test the reflexes of your knee by tapping it with a mallet? My reflexes are highly sensitive and "exagerated".
When my daughter Zee discovered my "weakness", she would randomly walk over to me and barely touch that area and above it to make me leg kick out. Sometimes, she would do it so frequently during the course of a day that it actually became painful lol.
But now that I see my kids only once a week, I miss those sorts of things...

My Maturity level depends on the company i'm with. With my close friends im extreamly immature. It can get embarassing at times. On the other hand with my peers and those older than I am, i'm seen as mature. Most comments my parents get is "Kirsty is a very mature child blah blah blah." I like to able to let loose with my friends. Some break times ends up as a wrestling match between me and my best friend. Most people keep a safe distance away from us
Everyone should be immature at times. It keeps your inner child happy!

You know what I really hate about myself? The fact that I just keep coming back for more. I don't know when the hell to stay away...from Dreamviews. About half the posts I read in any given subforum piss me off in one way or another. And yet I'm still here. What in the name of all that is evil is wrong with me?

Referring back to animals...wolves. Nothing more need be said.

Maturity is a way of accepting your dead inside. Immaturity is for children. I prefer misinformation, the occasional Leo Volont style post and a few helpful tips to prevent ban.

Considering you're still essentially a child agewise, why not just adhere to immaturity?

And exactly what do you guys consider is "immature"?

In my book, immaturity means selfishness, disregarding the emotions of others, or not taking into consideration the consequences of actions before you perform them.

Being "random" and skipping through a field is not immature. Asking why the sky is blue is not immature. Throwing a tantrum about those drunk photos your ex posted on Facebook is. Instigating arguments out of boredom is.

I suppose it's perfectly normal for teens to struggle with handling childhood spontaneity. Some settle down and "get serious," others continue blurting out memes and inside jokes during conversation 'cause they think it's funny. Immaturity has nothing to do with it.

Half the point of this avatar/signature combo is that it can be interpreted either way. And it is very relative. My monitor is upside down right now, didn't you know?

No matter the age, immaturity should not be practiced. Children have little self control, I'm a 'big child', as my sister would say it. There is a difference between immaturity and and being kidlike, but kids are generally immature.

I love how this started out as a discussion about things you love about yourself and the things you hate, changed into trolling of epicdreamer, changed into the original purpose of the thread again, changed to discussion of animals, and now into a discussion on maturity and birds in signatures.

At this point, how should we get this thread back on track?

      My friend wants to know.
