It's demeaning and shows that either A) you're pretty much a dick or B) you just suck at the English language.

Atheist can't believe that Christian just ignored his insult, and so continues to throw every other insult in the English dictionary at him. Christian just smiles. Atheist's head explodes.

See how ridiculous that sounded? It only goes to show that you can't generalize about people based on personal experience. Scientifically speaking, personal experiences are not considered relevant in the field of logic...yet atheists, who defend "logic" so vehemently, have somehow failed to notice this. Huh. Very queer. Very queer, indeed.

'Christian' should not be capitalised. I do not capitalise 'atheist', why the heck should I capitalise 'christian'? I won't capitalise the name of a faith just to try to make it more special. I demand you use capitalised pronouns and articles when you refer to His Godly Existence, the Flying Spaghetti Monster, and I want you to use a capital when you call me Spaghettian.

I do know what brainwashing is. In this case, its you being brought up that its true, therefore its ingrained into your mind, so much that you cannot let it go no matter what logic says, even if youre proven wrong.

To your second point, on my spelling. Dont change the subject. You can easily read what I'm trying to say, as can anybody who has passed the first grade. A few typo's, deal with it and get to the topic at hand.

My point wasn't to make any demographic statement. It's just a fact I observed. A fact is observed, then come hypotheses, then comes experimentation, then comes thesis. The beauty of the scientific method. I observed a fact and I asked a question in this thread, in order to come up with more hypotheses. I never made a thesis - I never said I believe this is because religious people are more hard-headed, stupid, or ignorant than atheists.

Now stop criticising my methods, if you don't know them at all.

I don't really care about discussing. There's not much I would gain from it then I've already done. I usually tend to like discussing with diverging opinions, to know their point of views and leave no flaw in my arguments. But lately I think my grasp is good. As I said above, this thread is not about a hypothesis I made up, it's about a fact I observed. I could say this is because religious people are more hard-headed or less intelligent (which, before you flame me, is a statistic fact), but I didn't.

Finally, my fire-resistant armour just broke, and I wouldn't want to get incinerated in R/S, even though that'd count as martyrdom.
