I've stayed away form this thread because I think the term best friend is a bit misleading. Calling someone a friend implies that you know them personally and talk off the board about personal life stuff... which I don't do with anyone from here. It also implies that you know they feel the same about you - and I don't know that about any of the people I like around here (well, except Dannon now...

)

I don't find it misleading at all. That's exactly what I took it to mean, and what I meant myself. The top four or five on my list I know very, very well and talk to on the phone at least twice a week, if not every day in some cases.
