Weird dot of light that I see all the time?

Hey guys, a lot of the time when I go to sleep or meditate or wild or whatever, I randomly get this dot in my vision. If it's dark, the dot is white. If it's light, the dot is black. I get it sometimes when my eyes are open, too.

Anybody else get this? Or know what it is?

It's not permanent. It comes for a few seconds then disappears.

It's probably just HI. I'm actually pretty sure it is because it seems to only happen when you meditate/WILD/sleep and this is when HI occurs.

Read again bro. I see it during waking reality, too. I saw it this morning while sitting on front of the computer, writing in my dream journal.
Also, it's only in my left eye, I think?

Are you free you're not just...dreaming that you're awake when you see this? As far as I know, your eyes can be open and you'll experience hallucinations once SP sets in. This could be an example of that. If it isn't and you experience this dot throughout the day and whatnot, perhaps you should go to an optician to get your (left) eye(s) checked? It could be a problem with your retinas or something.

Nah I'm not dreaming, brah. It's rare that I'll see it during the day though (jus' saw it this morning is all), mainly happens at night when I'm trying to tune out/morning when I've woken up. So meh. Might be HI remnants of w/e.

Yes I do.

One time I had HI of a clear plastic hose for a split second, after it disappeared it left a white dot that lingered for about 5 seconds where the tip of the hose closest to me was.

That experience leads me to the possibilities that when the white dots appear:

1. It could be the remnants of HI that just disappeared.
2. It could be the remnants of something you were just daydreaming about, an image you were imagining. (Dunno about this one, my imagination seems completely separate from HI and physical eye sight which can be indistinguishable from each other. But maybe my ability to imagine is just very weak in comparison.)
3. It could be HI that is too weak and only the brightest closest points are showing through.
4. It could be something going on in the eye(s).
5. It could be something going on in the brain beside HI.

I have visual snow and tinnitus(ringing in the ears). If that has to do with anything.

jim W. Goll thinks that is gods appearence. im involved with this too. i dont see black dots I see bright blue.

Hello,First of all I have just created an account for this threat, Ive searched google about this bright dot of light who appears from nowhere in the middle of my vision and found you had the same thing,I mostly see it when its dark and I also see it during daylight, it stands there for some seconds and disappears but when I look into deep dark spot again focus on again it pops out,I told people about this but none really knows or none really cares, Im worried if my brain is damaged or something bad? Im sorry for my English.

Nice to know I'm not the only one. I don't know anything about this kinda thing but I doubt it would be brain damage - most likely eye damage, if anything.

Have you ever worn contact lenses?

Is it possible that you are becoming aware of your blind spot?

On the inside of the eye you have many visual recpetors...but the spot where your retinal nerve connects isn't structured like the rest of the eye's interior and thus you will have a spot in your vision. This is normally compensated for with binocular vision (two eyes) by the brain so it's rare to experience these 'spots' in your vision but some people will see them often despite the brain's filtering mechanisms.

I don't know that it's what you are experiencing but it is a possibility that fits the description, whether your eyes are open or not.

heyyy o my fuck!!! haha u r not alone or we r going crazy together soo wierd i see it too, i was at my bathroom and my light bulb not working for a while now nevermind on the bath certain i saw this two white bright bright dots man like it was a this light insects u know the one that make light, so i touched it man and then it moved ,i played with it then i started to look where its coming from and no where to be found,i thought i was finelly going crazy hhh cuz all this moment was sureal and the moment i open the bathroom and some light came in it desapeard it was like a scene like a sureal scene, like im playing in a difrrent place, today i was waking up in my room for few times to this lucid state of my mind but my body was still sleeping and i saw this dot too ahhh and then i decided to fucking find out if im crazy and look on it in google and the first thing i find isss like in lucid dreaming forum mannnn, what the fuck?!?!?!?!?!?! i bet it means something...
