      Always, always, always tired

Ever since I graduated from college and got a full-time job (it's been about 6 months), I've noticed that I'm pretty much always SUPER tired.

I sleep about 6 hours on weekdays, and maybe about 10 on weekends, which isn't too different from what I've been doing all my life. My diet is better now, if anything... But I do exert a LOT of energy at work, so maybe the answer is I simply need more sleep than usual to make up for that?

I don't know... what do you think... I considered that there might be something else going on here just because of the severity of the situation. Like, I'm REALLY damn tired.

Oh, and I also feel slightly anxious these days too. Baaaaaah I really don't know man.

Yeah mes, I get the same thing sometimes.

even after an 8 hour sleep i'll almost fall asleep on the job. Have you tried a more enrgetic diet. like lots of fruit, orange juice etc?

I've made improvements to my diet but nothing too dramatic... I guess I should, and see how it goes.

I wouldn't say stressed, but often anxious, yes. But the anxiety is really recent... it's definitely not helping the tiredness though, that's for sure.

Could be something called adrenal fatigue. Let me find the link, nothing dangerous.

Oh nevermind it doesn't sound like what you have. Here's the link anyways

      What kind of tired?
"I went around all day carrying stuff and I just want to crash" tired or "I'm too damn tired to get up and move at full speed" tired?

It could be a million different things...We could be here all day suggesting different possibilities. I have the same problem - I still haven't cured it but the things that have unfailingly helped me are:

Avoiding all refined sugar, grains, dairy products (yeah, boring I know, but it helps)
Eating mostly vegetables (organic if possible, since they have more nutrients)
Taking probiotics (REALLY good for you, I recommend kefir rather than tablets)
Getting tested for allergies and heavy metals

You may find that your irregular sleeping hours probably aren't helping. If you try to maintain a relatively consistent schedule, your sleep will be more efficient.

      Good luck
