Lightbulb take a nap to stay up later

      Okay...
So I enjoy being up late at night, but I have to wake up very early for school generally (like 5:30 sometimes), and I was wondering if it is a bad idea to take a nap for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, waking up by alarm or my "mental alarm clock", and then going to bed later. It may not be the best for recall or WILDing, although I may remember more dreams. I know it sounds weird but I would love to try this for a few days at least...or maybe over the summer where it won't interfere with exams next week.

      Just my two cents.

It is generally advised that if you want to have good nightsleep you shouldn't nap more than an hour but as people, their sleep habits and needs are very different it is best to experiment couple of different methods. Also, I find naps to best for LDs since the sleep is very transparent and light it is easy to achieve ludicity. Only downside is that it is also easier to lose it since the sleep isn't so deep.
Jujutsu is the gentle art. It's the art where a small man is going to prove to you, no matter how strong you are, no matter how mad you get, that you're going to have to accept defeat. That's what jujutsu is.

If you take what's called a "power nap", a nap for only 30 to 45 minutes, you'll have more energy and feel refreshed, which will help you stay up. However, taking a nap longer than an hour tends to make the person groggy and more tired.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
