You have to be close to a REM in order to WILD. During daytime naps you enter REM rather quickly. In fact, I think daytime naps are the best time for lucid dreaming, whether it's a DILD or WILD. Anyways, when you first go to bed you're about an hour and a half away from your first REM period, and even if you do manage to make it, your dream might only last five to ten minutes. It's not worth it. |
