      WILDing at bedtime?

Why is WILD only supposed to work during a daytime nap or after waking up in the middle of the night, but not at bedtime? What keeps you from successfully WILDing when you first go to sleep at night?

You have to be close to a REM in order to WILD. During daytime naps you enter REM rather quickly. In fact, I think daytime naps are the best time for lucid dreaming, whether it's a DILD or WILD. Anyways, when you first go to bed you're about an hour and a half away from your first REM period, and even if you do manage to make it, your dream might only last five to ten minutes. It's not worth it.
      Lucid dreams, gotta love em.

I've only ever WILDED at bed time. apart from once. And in my experience, 5-10 minutes is normally more than enough i think if i was lucid all night i'd get up in the morning like id had no sleep. But i dunno lol
