You're pretty much right on. When I go to sleep baked I do visualize a lot. Though I heard thc suppresses rem phases.. I still think its possible though, say, a wake-back-to-bed-and-bake
using visualizations to help you get captivated by the oncoming dreams

Or...not. I would not take any advice from the guy that uses Seroquel recreationally.

To get back on topic..... Someone Who Isn't Me has a friend that has had a WILD or two while high. If you have an mp3 player try downloading some guided meditations. Your high state should help you follow the meditation and visualize what the speaker is talking about. He has done this before sleeping also, so don't worry about waking up in the night.

Why the hell would you need drugs to WILD? Lucid Dreaming is really a drug in itself, and adding on

The bull**** is expecting spiritual fulfillment through medicine. Maybe cough syrup tastes good, helps people, and won't kill you if you
drank a bottle every day, but that doesn't make it smart.

It's not bull****. How can you compare codeine, a dangerous drug, with marijuana, a medicine that has killed 0 people in all of history. I'm not condoning getting high before every LD because that would be unskillful to attaining higher consciousness as opposed to a meditation session beforehand. But if he's open minded and wants to try it and see how it goes, then who are you to say no? I think it's a great idea, plus a good way to pass the time and stay awake long enough which is usually the main component of success for WILD dreams
