I'm determined to get the WILDing thing down since I suck at DEILDs and because they are so rare for me to get one. The only thing that is stopping me is I can't advance into the lucid dream.

I can lay down still for about 10-20 minutes and feel the vibrations, see visuals, and sometimes hear noises. The problem is I usually do them BEFORE I go to bed which I heard most likely wont give me a lucid dream fast.

So the past two days, I've woken up at different times at night to WILD. Both were unsuccessful. I didn't move for maybe 10 minutes and I didn't feel any different. Yesterday I woke up at 3:30AM, got my bearings, and tried to WILD. Nothing. So after 10 minutes I gave up and fell back asleep. Today I did it again at 3:30AM but same thing happened. But than I set my alarm to 5:00AM and did it again for 30 minutes in increments of 10 to check the time. No sleep paralysis, vibrations, or visuals. I was wondering why this was.

Could it be because before I go to bed, I try to WILD just because I like the feeling (It feels like I'm high)? I heard if you mess up a WILD attempt, you just messed up your REM cycle or something along those lines. Could it be I'm waking up at 3:30AM which is too early?

Can anyone help?

I want to try it today and I read afternoon naps at 2PM are the best time to try it.
