Thread: Was this Hypnagogic imagery?

Maybe, I've never seen hypnagogic imagery before, but it's very possible your eyes were just open a smidge and letting in small blobs of light.

Yes that is early stage hypnagogia. you're getting closer.
My imagery actually developed into a full blown cathedral
scene with a blinding moon through the window on the
roof. It was amazing.

Also keep in mind you can get other senses from the hypnagogics.
I've heard some pretty weird shit and swear I smelled rotten eggs
when i was WILDing last night...

actually, soon i opened my eyes and gave up. So i simply went back to sleep without trying. Except, i was sleeping SO lightly. I actually felt partially awake in the beginning of my dream. I was in a swimming pool with finding nemo characters. Then i soon was fully asleep. Was this Hypnagogia or a full blown dream?

I'd say full blown dream but if it was lucid in the beginning, I'd call it MILD as opposed to WILD

nah..... no lucidity involved

Then I'd say just a full blown non-lucid

and another question... how long will it from closing my eyes to lucid dreaming during a WILD?

probably about an hour or two maybe three. Depends on how good you are at staying still.

Believe me 2 hours is worth it. The experience is extremely rewarding... Not to mention your brain
provides a pretty little light show for your entertainment while you wait
