I'm surprised you were able to go as far as you did. Going into a WILD, right after being awake, is VERY hard. Try it again when you wake up in the middle of the night for better results. |

I started to do the WILD technique last night but it wasnt after I was already sleeping. I did it after I've been awake all day. I layed down and tensed up all my muscles and let them sink into my bed, or I tried to.. And I closed my eyes but I never saw anything for a while so I kept changing my position, but this stime, it felt like my eyelids were trying to open rapidly and when I focused on the blackness, it turned into light and I saw a little swirl of light but mabye thats because I focused to hard with my eyes? I heard my eyes need to be relaxed so I think I did it wrong. |

Nah you didn't do anything wrong. The rapid eye twitches are normal...you are entering directly into the REM state (Rapid Eye Movement) after all, so your eyes will be becoming fairly active. A lot of times, the real intense twitches of the eyes are actually just hallucinations brought on by SP. Just try to ignore them and know that you are keeping your actual eyes nice and relaxed. Like Drokens said, it is difficult to WILD upon first going to sleep...not impossible, but it will be hard to pass that transitional phase. WBTB or day time naps have much higher success rates than upon first going to sleep. Good luck to you and hope I helped out a bit. If you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask. |
