So I attempted a method I found on here yesterday before going to sleep. It involved laying on your back and counting your breaths. I think I was pretty close to succeeding too. I have a couple questions though. My gerbils were making a little bit of noise while I was doing it, which sidetracked me for a moment but I was able to get back into rhythm pretty quick. Also my fan makes...well a typical fan noise, it's not very distracting but I was just curious if it needs to be absolutely silent?
