When I wake up for a DEILD what should I be thinking of while doing it? |

I was so much older then, I'm younger then that now.

Something I've found really helpful is to not become mentally focused on trying not to move; it helps to be as passive about it as you can. Like Arch said, just relax, continuing your breathing pattern as if you were asleep (which shouldn't be an issue unless you become tense from trying not to move), and visualize a dream. Imagining other senses like smell and touch can also come in handy, but if you do imagine a dream, it's easier to use the one you just came from. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
