devised a technique from a post i read

hey, so i'm a music producer of many years and i work with sound a lot. anyway, one of my lucid goals is to walk the streets of yamanose, sakuragaoka, dobuita and the harbour from Shenmue. ive been working on a sort of remix of the main shenmue themetune and i remember reading some post where someone had an alarm that stopped itself then started itself again after a designated amount of time. (this meant you could wake up, stay perfectly still and relaxed then induce lucid when the alarm automatically stopped). well ive decided to kind of do my own version (which i can make available to you all if you are interested)

ive basically got this theme song which is unique to me (i made it) and i know as soon as i hear it in the morning, i will think about shenmue the game. i have then created a 10min track of silence. ive made a playlist in itunes (my alarm clock is my iphone) so i have this track, then i have the 10 min silence track set 6 times after it. so it goes my track->60mins silence->my track->60mins silence->my track etc. so ive set the playlist as my alarm in the morning

im gunna try it out tonight/tomorrow morn and hope for the best tomorrow, but what i can do is make the 10min silence track (and my remix..) available to download so you can do the same. the track i made is only 30 seconds and fades out to transition you nicely into your lucid . i guess i'd recommend you use a track that means something sentimental to you and yout lucid journey though...

the good thing about the 10min silence increment is that you can add or subtrack a 10 min track to suit your sleep cycle. im starting mine at an hour but if i might have to change it.

      who's interested?

This sounds like it should work I'm pretty sure this is like a CAN-WILD. Good luck with your technique!

it didnt work this morning, i think i just didnt dream. i remember not getting to sleep as early as i had planned...maybe i hadnt had enough sleep before the alarms. i think ill try reducing the time between the alarms. also i guess ive got to get used to waking up without moving. the first alarm frightened me so i guess thats why it failed on the first one. i remember the second alarm i managed to stay completely still afterwards and i remember a strange feeling but i must have lost consciousness.

anyway im gunna keep trying this as much as i can, gunna take the time between alarms down by 20mins i think
