Can you have a WILD from regular dream?

Recently, I'm having these dreams, when in regular dream I lay down with intent to WILD, have the headrush feeling like when I have a successful WILD and sometimes the separation feeling, and then I wake up in this regular dream and I'm lucid.

I guess, when I just started to lucid dream, the differences between regular dreams, WILDs and DILDs were absolutely clear, I had no doubts what I had. But lately, the lines are blurred and I can't always tell, what it was.

Does this happen to you? Can anybody explain?

Well I find some of my most sucessful lucids are attempted within a dream, but technically what you are suggesting is not a WILD, as you know a WILD is a wake induced lucid dream, as you are not awake, it is therefore not a WILD.
Your mind is probably generating the feelings accociated with a WILD which makes it seem real.
Strangely enough, I had one of these experences last night, when I laid down in my dream it felt like the music that was on in the dream (ambient wave noises) turned into reality and encased me into the new dream, I was lucid for about 30 mins? Visited 8 houses and engaged in long conversations with people! How fun!

      Hope this helps!

So funny you mention music. As I was attempting to WILD last night, I thought I should put on some LD inducing music on my laptop (this was all while transitioning, not IWL) and as soon as music started to play, I had a headrush and got lucid. Then I tried to figure out, how to turn the music off, so it doesn't wake me up. But it stopped by itself. That was a first!

When I say headrush, it's the very strong tingling feeling in the back of my head (visual cortex area), together with acceleration, that I get only when WILDing, during last part of transition into lucid dream. Do you think, this feeling can be reproduced by my mind just like that, without acctually going into LD?

And yes, you are right, WILD is without loss of awareness, so what I experienced, wasn't a WILD. Probably a DILD. But then where did the headrush sensation come from?

I don't pretend to know anything aboyt the brain, but like I said your mind probably accociates that feeling with a sucessful WILD and therefore made you 'feel' them in the dream.
