      Exclamation question

well ive been trying the wild technique for a while now and have had no success. her is one of my failed attempts go to bet at 11 wake up at 4 lay still and after about 45 min i start to feel the rollover signal but it wont go away no matter how long i ignore it. i know that its because im not relaxed enough but that's just it how do you relax enough to enter sp and techniques or just general feedback would be much appreciated

For me, i use yoshi's technique and roll over when I get the signal which according to one of the user's comments actually resets the SP cycle but shortens the gap between consciousness and SP. I prefer this method since I can't stand lying still for 1-2 hours. When I started using yoshi's technique I went into SP within one hour and since now I've had 3 WILDs in 5 days (no mean to brag ^^). Hopefully this helps and goodluck

It sounds to me that you're suffering from thinking more then anything else. Keep in mind that a WILD attempt requires you to fall asleep, only with a tiny bit of awareness intact. What anchor are you using if any? Whatever it is, I would advice you to first practice normally falling asleep in it. The only difference this has to a WILD is you try to keep tabs on the anchor as you fall asleep. Don't be alarmed if you find your attention wavering as you go deeper into the WILD, just gently redirect a litle attention to the anchor. One of two things will happen, you will briefly lose conciousness and spontaneously regain it once you're in a dream or you will go through a brief sp period before popping into a dream. Whatever you do, do not look for sp, hypnogia or any of that crap. They are just distractions that will prevent you from relaxing enough to fall asleep.
