If you got lucid, then this is DILD. DEILD is when you intentionally get into the dream... and since you scratched your nose, you couldn'tve been in SP anyway. |

Recently I decided to try DEILD. I like DILD but cant do more than one a week, and that just isnt enough. Also dont know how I do it intentionally. So last night I tried laying still after a dream period. I recall my limbs feeling somewhat numb but dont think I was SP.. scratched my nose once. Lost consciousness I think.. Next thing I knew I was in a car at a stoplight. In my dream I was paralized at first. Couldnt move to get the car in drive for maybe 5 seconds, but then could move just fine. Anyone experience this? Was this DEILD or just DILD? Did my SP occur in the dream start? |

If you realized you are dreaming, then it sounds like a DILD. |

Well, if this was DILD then I've learned that lying absolutely still like that greatly improves my having LDs. It is similar to DEILD since I lie very still and dont open eyes. However it avoids SP (at least when awake). Although I dont stay conscious, I realize I'm dreaming since it occurs so quickly aftet being awake. And the reality factor was very high... so the technique of DEILD seems useful for DILD. |
